Cyrano
The CyTOF2 Mass Cytometer uses metal-ion conjugates to label cells. Labeled cells are then ionized and mass measurements are used to differentiate functional and phenotypic markers. Sample preparation and processing is quite similar to that used in fluorescence-based cytometry with some quality control considerations unique to atomic mass spectroscopy.
